About me
You're the one who holds it all together. You're capable, driven, the person everyone counts on — and from the outside, it looks like you have it figured out. Underneath, though, your mind rarely slows down. You overthink, over-give, and over-prepare; resting feels almost impossible without guilt; and the perfectionism and people-pleasing that helped you succeed are quietly wearing you out. You're not failing. You're exhausted from carrying so much for so long.
This is the work I love most.
I'm Ellie, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Seattle with advanced training in EMDR and somatic (body-based) therapies. I help high-achieving, anxious adults work through the trauma, chronic stress, and burnout that insight and willpower alone haven't resolved — so they can feel calmer and more like themselves without losing their edge.
So much of what keeps thoughtful, successful people stuck doesn't live in their thinking — it lives in the nervous system and the body, often rooted in earlier experiences. That's why I work beyond talk alone. Using EMDR, somatic therapy, and a trauma-informed, mindfulness-based approach, we help your brain and body reprocess what's driving the anxiety and learn, gradually, that it's safe to slow down. My style is warm, attuned, and collaborative, and we move at a pace that feels supportive — never overwhelming.
I'm committed to ongoing training in trauma-informed and body-based care because I believe you deserve more than coping strategies. You deserve lasting change.
I offer secure, online therapy for adults throughout Washington, including Seattle and the surrounding areas. Telehealth lets you receive thoughtful, grounded care from the comfort and privacy of your own space, through a confidential, HIPAA-compliant platform.
If you're ready to feel less stuck and more like yourself, I'd be honored to support you. I offer a free consultation so you can ask questions and see whether we're a good fit — no pressure, no obligation.
